BEYOND STRUCTURE

A Weekend with Shirley Pierce
Saturday Jan. 28th and 29th
9.30am - 4.00pm

Learn the building blocks of your favourite films
and what can work for you.

IF AN AUDIENCE DOES NOT CONNECT
WITH A FILM, THE FILM WILL FAIL.

Australian Films have earned the lowest proportion of the total annual box office in almost a decade! With the right attitude we can turn this around!

In today's competitive marketplace, a writer has to know what hooks an audience. It's more than structure, theme and character arcs. It's about how to make every creative decision count. If you've never thought of movies this way, it's a career changing experience.

This course is for all filmmakers with an eye on the box office and for those who have attended my "Writing for Audiences" classes or lectures, this is a powerful way to see those lessons in action.
